Katy Sensenig Schilthuis
A long-time creative entrepreneur, Katy has formed, owned, operated, and assisted with numerous small business ventures. After years of work in freelance marketing and design, Katy ventured into business herself in Dallas, Texas with stationery company Fresh Out of Ink in 2016, and retail collective Mosaic Makers Collective in 2018. With two companies under her belt, along with coaching, support, and marketing help for over 100+ small businesses and artisans in DFW, she's developed - with a STELLAR team behind her - Block Star. Katy's strong-suits include leadership, building community, and telling authentic stories.

In her spare time, you can find Katy spending time with her husband, Albert, and cats, Queso and Calamari. She loves dining and shopping at local businesses, and building thriving relationships within her community (not to mention her unique ability to memorize and recite lyrics to her favorite Broadway shows upon request).

A project management, operations, events and production aficionado, Megan has put her skills to use in Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, China, Israel, and nationwide in the US of A. Passionate about supporting small businesses on their growth pathways, and especially minority-owned and operated, grassroots for profit and not-for-profit groups, Megan has deep ties in the North Oak Cliff area of DFW (but her heart is in NYC).
